All Roll’eat products have materials that withstand temperatures around 120 ° C. Normally, heated food is usually between 60 ° and 70 ° C, temperatures that do not affect these products.

The use of Roll’eat products in the microwave is not recommended as some foods may contain fats and oils that may exceed the resistance temperature of the materials and may therefore damage them.

Eat’n’Out is not intended to be used directly in the microwave because it has metal elements that can damage the product.

Yes, you can put it in the freezer. Roll’eat materials are resistant to low temperatures, some of the materials used resist up to -30 ° C. Normally, the common freezing temperature of the fridges is -18 ° C.

It is not recommended to defrost in the microwave since it can be the case that oils and fats from some foods take very high temperatures (more than 120°C) so the meal and Roll’eat product can be damaged.

Roll’eat products are adaptable and they can be adjusted to different food sizes. Nonetheless, because Roll’eat products are sewed and they have seams, they are not designed for food containing liquid, since complete watertightness is not guaranteed. The Grab’n’Go or The Smart bag, however,  do guarantee water tightness as it is an airtight bag.

It is not recommended. The outer layer fabric of Roll’eat products can function as a strainer of food debris from other products causing them to be deposited on it and even staining the fabric.

Yes, but use washing machine programs intended for delicate and synthetic garments and with low spin speed. Our recommendation is to wash it at 60°C or below, because the more careful the way of washing Roll’eat products, the longer its life cycle.

Not recommended since high temperatures can be reached which could damage the Products structure. In any case drying programs with very low temperatures can be used and we need to make sure that the walls of the drum do not transmit a much higher temperature.

Not recommended. As in previous cases, high temperatures can be reached during ironing which can damage Roll’eat products.

Which materials are used to make Roll’eat products?2021-04-30T17:19:36+02:00

Most of Roll’eat products are made of 2 main layers: a textile fabric on the outside and a TPU layer on the inside. The inner layer is Polyurethane Thermoplastic (TPU), a material suitable for contact with food that provides more strength and flexibility than other plastics (such as polyethylene or polypropylene that are also suitable for food use).

Our fabrics come from factories that certify the Oeko-Tex standard.

What do I do with Roll’eat products once their life-cycle finish?2020-08-07T13:15:28+02:00

Most of the materials used in Roll’eat products are fabrics, so they can not be categorized as plastic, glass or cardboard products and be thrown in those specific garbage containers. In addition, throwing them to the waste container would be of no use. It is recommended to throw them in a container of clothing or textiles. The textiles in these containers are classified according to their state and typology and end up being crushed and offered as material for coating, for filling or for other functions.

Sure. Both outer layer and the layer in contact with food are resistant materials, and the products are made in a way that also ensures their reuse.

What are the certificates that Roll’eat products have?2020-08-07T13:11:37+02:00

We have the Food Grade Certificate, which guarantees that it does not endanger the health. For this purpose, several tests have been carried out in accordance with European Union Regulation No. 10/2011. Following this regulation, tests were also made to ensure that the product is free of BPA, free of heavy metals and free of fthalates. These tests have been done at a temperature of 70 ° C since some food placed in Roll’eat products can reach that temperature. Moreover, Roll’eat products are free of 169 substances from the List of Very High Concern Candidate Substances (SVHC) according to European Union Regulation number 1907/2006 (REACH).

In the same way, a test has been made at high temperatures, at 120 ° C, to guarantee the food suitability in higher temperatures.

Roll’eat products are not 100% hermetic products so that heat is not kept in the end. Although it can be guaranteed that the food will maintain the heat over a period of time thanks to its properties.

In the Boc’n’Roll you can place up to half a baguette (25 cm) or 4 sandwiches of 10×10 cm. In the Snack’n’Go can put 1 sandwich 10×10 cm or 250 grams of nuts (unless those are walnuts).
The Eat’n’Out Mini has 1.25 litres capacity. The Grab’n’Go – The Smart Bag has 2,5 litres capacity.
