At Roll’eat, we believe that educating in sustainability is the first step toward transforming the future. That’s why, when we see our products becoming true tools for change, it reinforces our mission. In recent years, we’ve carried out numerous initiatives with this goal in mind, two of which we’d like to highlight here. Both took place in the Ribera Alta district, in the Valencian Community.
A regional project with an environmental vision: BioDiverArt
The Environmental Department of the Ribera Alta promotes all kinds of actions, from efficient waste management to the installation of photovoltaic solar plants—all aimed at encouraging a more sustainable management model. Within this context, the BioDiverArt school project was launched, involving six educational centers. The goal was to raise awareness about local biodiversity through an innovative methodology that combined play, research, and direct action.
To help students internalize these values, the Boc’n’Roll reusable sandwich wrap was integrated into the project. This allowed them to practically understand the environmental impact of their daily habits and recognize the large effect small changes can have, turning them into advocates for more responsible consumption.
Carcaixent and Its “Fem i Desfem” Campaign
BioDiverArt wasn’t the only initiative where Boc’n’Roll played a key role. The Carcaixent Town Council, one of the members of the Ribera Alta District, also developed its own environmental project. Under the slogan “Fem i Desfem” (“We Make and Unmake”), the town’s Environmental Education Team organized workshops and activities focused on waste generation and environmental education, emphasizing the importance of reducing our impact on the planet.
As part of the campaign, 500 custom-designed Boc’n’Roll wraps were produced, taking advantage of the product’s customization options to create an original design that conveyed the project’s essence and values.
Boc’n’Roll – More than just a wrapper
Although different in focus—one centered on biodiversity, the other on waste reduction—both experiences share the same philosophy: educating to transform. And in both cases, Boc’n’Roll proved to be an effective ally for taking these messages beyond the classroom.
The reception of Boc’n’Roll in these projects demonstrated its functionality, adaptability, and its power to convey a clear message. Reducing the use of single-use plastics becomes easy when you have an efficient alternative that doesn’t compromise the convenience of traditional packaging.
Our mission continues
At Roll’eat, we continue working to involve more schools, institutions, and families in this shift. We believe in the power of small actions and in instilling these values from an early age, so that children become true agents of change and pass on the message to their families.
That’s why we want to thank the Ribera Alta District Council and the Carcaixent Town Council for their commitment to such a vital cause and for trusting us to help deliver this important message through fun and educational initiatives. These projects are just a glimpse of what can be achieved when sustainability and education go hand in hand.
Will you join the change?
